We have an opportunity for an experienced part-time Healthcare Receptionist based at our Grange rooms, predominantly working Saturday shifts and possible evening shifts and backfilling for leave purposes during the week. This clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic with multiple practitioners including GPs and Specialists as well as Allied health staff. We also run an active herbal/bioceuticals dispensary.
Experience in medical/allied health practice and attention to detail with high level of work ethics is essential.
Daily duties include:
Greet patients in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
Answer and manage incoming calls and email inquiries.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments; operation bookings and issue associated documentations.
Data processing.
Patient invoicing and payments including Medicare, DVA, Defence transmissions and Private Healthcare Rebates.
Reconcile Eftpos and banking.
Dictation typing of reports and medical correspondence.
Accounts payable.
General office administration duties
Skills and Experience:
2 years minimum medical and or allied health reception experience
Experience with Medirecords or similar patient medication record systems, Mind and Body/Quickernotes or equivalent softwares
Typing (50wpm)
Excellent telephone manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional customer service skills
Ability to be empathetic to patients
Self motivated, reliable and trustworthy
Warm and friendly personality, with the ability to remain calm and polite in stressful situations.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
The position will be for permanent part time basis with a probationary period of 6 months. Immediate start for the right candidate. Application without the above skills will not be reviewed.
