We treat over 50,000 patients a year. We also offer a dermal and laser clinic and a hair salon.
The opportunity:
This is a great opportunity to join our busy clinic support team as a Receptionist, located in our East Melbourne clinic, with public transport (train, tram & bus) nearby. We are looking for a new Receptionist to join our busy team. This role is a full-time position - Monday to Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm.
As you will be part of our front of house team, your role will include:
• Meeting and greeting patients on arrival with warmth and focus on our patient's experience
• Attending, invoicing and scheduling patient appointments working in Zedmed medical software
• Processing referrals and Medicare claims
• Maintaining the highest level of patient confidentiality and privacy
• Performing start or end of day processes.
What you need for this role:
As you will liaise directly with patients (our clients) and often be the first impression of our clinic, you will need to be well-presented, courteous and committed to providing excellent customer service. The ability to show empathy to patients, a commitment to address their concerns and work as part of a team is paramount.
You will also liaise with doctors and nurses who work with Sinclair Dermatology.
Experience in the use of Zedmed software & Hot Doc would be an advantage (but not essential and training will be provided) as will previous experience in medical reception/administration roles.
