Medical Receptionist

Our client, located in the eastern suburbs in Sydney is looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist.In this role you will be working for 2 days of the week: Thursday and Friday

Tasks and responsibilities

• General medical reception and administration duties
• Answering phone calls, emails and management of electronic patient files
• Managing patient appointments
• Greeting, checking-in
• Processing patient accounts
• Typing letters, scanning and filing
• Maintaining general tidiness of the practice
• Other administrative duties relevant to day-to-day medical practice operations

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working as a medical reception / medical administrator
• Knowledge of Medicare processes
• Demonstrated attention to detail, reliable and punctual
• Proficient in IT systems and software applications
• Ability to work under pressure and pick up new processes quickly
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent people skills that relate well to patients, staff and healthcare professionals
• Understanding of health and safety policies and procedures
