The opportunity
Westside Medical Imaging is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our radiology clinic in Wetherill Park. We are seeking an intermediate Medical Receptionist. This is a permanent full-time role.
Responsibilities include
- Greeting patients, providing information about diagnostic procedures/examinations and other enquires
- Effectively booking patient appointments face-to-face or over the phone
- Providing professional and courteous communication with patients and health professionals
- Opening and closing the clinic when required
- Receiving payments, issuing receipts, completing billing and invoicing patients
- Operating booking system, including bookings, data entry and patient registration
The successful candidate:
- Ensures positive and effective communication with patients, clinicians, and management
- At least 1 year of radiology related experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Flexibility with their hours of work (available Saturday 9am-1pm)
- Pride themselves on their attention to detail
- Have a strong customer service focus and demonstrate compassionate care towards patients
- Ability to multitask, remaining professional in a fast passed environment
- Experience in Medical Imaging is desired but not compulsory
