Medical Receptionist

We are a well-established, busy 6 day medical practice located in Aspley, North Brisbane. We are supported by General Practitioners, nurses, allied health, visiting specialists and administrative staff. 

Our Director has been practicing for 16 years and is an examiner for the Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a supervisor/trainer for General Practice Training of Queensland (GPTQ).

Hours:

We are seeking a part-time receptionist to join our team.  The part-time hours will be worked every day over Monday to Friday although there is flexibility to change this.

Desirable for this role:

. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a general practice

. Experience with Pracsoft and Medical Director

. Experience with Hicaps and Tyro

How will your day look?  Your duties will include:

• Schedule patients
• Answer patient enquiries
• Notify patients of changes and requirements for each appointment
• Billing and Payments
• Assist with recalls and patient engagement
• Maintain consulting rooms and waiting area
• Manage new patient registrations
• Batching
• End of day banking
• Manage Workers Compensation and DVA claims
