AddressAn opportunity exists for an energetic and highly capable Medical Secretary/Receptionist to join our dynamic, respectful and friendly team at an Ear, Nose Throat specialist practice in Northbridge. Position available now.
If you are a friendly and detail oriented individual, seeking a positive and rewarding work environment, you will be an ideal candidate to join our team. The position will be part time work 3-4 days per week. There may be some flexibility around this schedule.
The primary function of this position is to provide exceptional secretarial support for an ENT specialist surgeon. You will be rewarded by working in a great environment and at an above award wage.
Typical duties include office setup and close, making bookings, answering phone inquiries, responding to email correspondence and attending to various office duties as required. It will also involve preparing quotes for patients, co-ordinating surgical bookings and discussing procedures.
On site training will be provided. Candidates will need to be very comfortable with computers for email, messaging, calendars, tasks, bookings. We use Clinic To Cloud for our practice management software.
The successful applicant must have the following skills (essential):

- Be very comfortable with computers and be able to learn new systems.

- Exceptional spelling and writing skills for patient correspondence

- Excellent organisational skills with optimum time management skills
- MS Office skills – Word, Excel, Outlook

- Previous Medical Receptionist work
- Understanding of medical terminology, Medicare, DVA and private health care systems.
- Touch typing skills
