Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join our small and friendly team as a Permanent Part Time Medical Receptionist at our renowned Ophthalmology Practice in St Leonards, Sydney. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Assist patients with filling out necessary forms and documents.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and scheduling.
- Handle billing and payment processing, including Medicare claims.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a high standard of patient care.
- Follow privacy and confidentiality guidelines when handling patient information.
Requirements:
- Available Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays.
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role.
- Experience using Genie is a plus.
- Australian residency or valid work permit.
