Medical Receptionist And Administrative Assistant

Dural Family Medical Practice is a boutique style GP led practice in the north-west of Sydney near Castle Hill, NSW. This practice has been operating for the last 30 years. 

A position has become available for a casual Medical Receptionist to join our team. The receptionist is the primary representative of the medical practice. Your duties include greeting visitors and maintaining the doctor's appointment book. The receptionist may also perform clerical work.

Your roles and responsibilities in summary:  

• Answer phone calls. 
• Book patients in for appointments. 
• Use of PracSoft medical software to bill patients. 
• Ad Hoc day to day administration tasks. 
• Scanning patient files into the software. 
• Collecting patient information when needed. 
• Handling correspondence. 
• Make a difference with your friendliness as patients come in for their appointments. 

Experience is desired but no required. 

Rates per hour is in accordance to the Health Professional and Support Services Award.

Requirements: 

Working Visa (if travelling)

Not be a current patient of the practice. 

Current days needed: 

Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for 5-6 hours per day.
