Work type: Casual 30-38 hours per week; Only those with General Practice Medical Reception experience will be considered.
IMMEDIATE START: Carseldine Family Clinic is looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist with minimum three years experience to provide administrative support to our 8 doctor clinical team.
As the first point of contact, our Medical Receptionists are required to provide high quality customer service when attending to our patients in person and over the phone. The position is responsible for promoting a professional and friendly image that enhances the reputation of Carseldine Family Clinic.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Provide exceptional support to Doctors
- Ensure the reception desk is attended at all times and carry out reception duties including answering phones and make appointments and other administrative duties as required.
- Assist patients, community members and staff in a courteous and friendly manner
- Knowledge of MBS item numbers and patient billings
- Billing accuracy
- Knowledge in preventative health initiatives
- Punctuality
- General housekeeping
The key skills required for this role include:
- Must have minimum three years Medical Receptionist experience
- Advanced computer skills
- Best Practice software experience
- well presented and exceptional customer service skills
- multi-tasking and ability to prioritise tasks
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
