Medical Receptionist For Busy Obstetrics And Gynaecology Clinic

Role:

• Specialist Medical Receptionist required for a busy obstetrics and gynecology practice
• Previous experience working in as a Medical Receptionista must
• Demonstrated experience using specialist genie software, cashiering, receipting, filing, typing ideal (but not mandatory)
• Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Medical terminology favorable
• Face-paced and busy practice, needs to be able to work independently and be reliable and punctual
• Supportive practice manager who will help with training and development

 Responsibilities: 

• Front line customer service, meet and greet patients and clinicians
• Attending to telephone calls and email correspondence
• Coordinating patient care, including organising appointments, coordinating treatment and procedures, midwife consultations, theatre lists
• Administrative duties, filing, scanning, patient registration, forms, notes and other correspondence (referrals) as needed
• Diary management
• Patient invoicing, including managing payments and medicare claims
• Processing private insurance claims and billing
• Assistant billings on an as needed basis
