HealthSure Jesmond, is a busy, professional, and caring General Practice consisting of 8 highly qualified GP's, who are complimented by 3 practice Nurses.
We are seeking a Part Time Medical Receptionist:
- Award rate for Health Service Support Staff
- Required Mondays & Fridays
- Available 1-2 Saturdays per month
- Available to cover leave/sick days.
- Potential to increase days in the future for the right candidate.
About the Role
- Welcome patients into the centre in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Collect & enter patient details.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments.
- Answer telephone call & enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Administration support
- General administration duties such as scanning, faxing, filing and follow up patient enquiries.
- Patient billing and processing of payments
- Scheduling and Triaging
- Problem solving and negotiation.
Skills and Experience
- Experience working in a medical centre is essential.
- Proficient computer skills – knowledge of (Best Practice) an advantage
- Sound understanding of medical centre operations.
- Display a high level of attention to detail.
- High level of personal presentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Display a “can do” attitude.
