In this practice you will organise appointments, maintain records and perform other tasks to ensure that clinic is a smooth and efficiently functioning practice that provides an exceptional standard of care to our patients with absolute confidentiality.
The duties to be carried out in conjunction with the practice’s policies and procedures include but are not limited to:
• Greeting patients and other callers at the practice in a friendly and efficient manner
• Answering the telephone promptly and courteously
• Scheduling appointments for patients
• Issuing patient invoices/receipts and bulk bill as required
• Entering and updating patient registration details
• Managing calls from patients regarding test results by referring them to the practice nurse
• Assisting with a range of practice administration duties
• Undertaking other duties as required from time to time as directed by the Nurse and Doctor.
It will be expected that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, well-presented, friendly, courteous, and able to represent the practice in a confident and positive manner. Those applicants that may have had prior experience with Best Practice software may be favourably viewed.
