About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Casual Medical Receptionist to join our Brisbane Northside Emergency team on a casual 24/7 role. You will be an integral part of the team that is passionate about making a difference to the lives of those you care for, while making a positive contribution to the overall standard of care delivered.
About you
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Medical Receptionist, or similar role.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
- An understanding of medical terminology preferable
- The ability to professionally liaise with colleagues, patients, visitors, and medical professionals.
- The ability to maintain a high level or of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to integrate into a 24-hour roster, day/evening/night shifts ESSENTIAL
