1 x  Front Medical Receptionist / Occupational Health Screener - Full Time

a. Medical software experience highly regarded

Work Hours - To apply you must be reliable and available for all shifts during these times.

Work hours will be rostered between

• 7am-7pm Monday to Friday (eg. 7am til 3pm / 8am til 4pm / 9am til 5pm / 11am -til 7pm)

• 8 am - 1pm Saturday (rotating roster),

• 9am-12pm Sunday(rotating roster).

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients with inquiries and appointments
• Answer and respond to telephone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
• Accurately process patient payments via cash, Eftpos
•  Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records
• At all times maintain the confidentiality of patient personal and financial information
• Maintain cleanliness of reception area and clinic rooms
• Debtor recovery
• Leasing with clients in a professional manner
• Conduct health/occupational screenings and assessments for patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and explanations.
• Report any abnormalities or concerns to medical professionals.
• Interact with a diverse range of individuals, including patients, visitors, and staff members.

Requirements

• Previous medical reception experience highly regarded – (Pracsoft and Medical Director)
• Excellent computer skills
• Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and leave personal/external issues at the door
• Commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to empathize with patients
• Strong work ethic, can-do attitude, ability to perform to KPIs
• Punctual, reliable
• Police check required
