The Cardiac Health Institute (CHI) is a busy, privately owned, Sydney based specialist Cardiology and Imaging organization.
With 5 cardiologists of various sub-specialties including interventional, nuclear cardiology, electrophysiology and echocardiography, the Cardiac Health Institute has clinics in Epping, Bella Vista (Norwest Private Hospital Clinic) and Wahroonga (Sydney Adventist Hospital).
We are looking to appoint a Medical Receptionist who exhibits the following:
- Strong customer service focus to provide safe quality patient care;
- A highly professional and friendly demeanour;
- High levels of motivation and initiative;
- Strong attention to detail;
- The ability to adapt to change and multitask;
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Face to face interaction and customer service to patients;
- Liaising with external departments including pathology;
- Providing billing support and online Medicare claiming;
- General administration duties;
- Immaculate record keeping;
- Managing daily incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
Prior medical reception experience and/or a background in health is preferred. Full training will be provided in regard to cardiac knowledge.

Experience using Shexie is desirable but not essential.
