Opportunity exists to be part of our front desk receptionist/patient liaison team. We are a specialised vein and cosmetic clinic dedicated to minimally invasive vein treatment and FUE hair transplants.
Key duties/responsibilities:
Duties include meeting and greeting patients for both consultation appointments and various treatment/procedures. Providing all necessary information to patients on available procedures, organising patient appointments and managing a busy appointment schedule. As a receptionist, you are the clinic's first contact making it imperative to manage and respond to all patient correspondence received via email and phone. Manage all the billing, daily/weekly reporting requirements and handle all other administrative tasks. Opportunity exists for clinical assisting also. Managing 2 practices, based in Melbourne and Sydney.
This role involves working closely with our team members, including our Senior Receptionist/Patient Services Officer and our clinical assistant. It is pivotal in this role that the successful candidate be able to work very closely and support the Medical Director. The highest level of customer care to patients is a priority, your sincerity, warmth, professionalism and discretion is mandatory.
Specialties/skills required include:
- Excellent presentation, etiquette and phone manner are mandatory.
- Strong communication skills for effective patient communication and education.
- Proven ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong work ethic is mandatory.
- Excellent computer skills, thoroughness and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, yet also be a team player.
- Ability to manage and coordinate a busy appointment schedule.
- Prioritisation and high level organisational skills.
- Ability to effortlessly multi-task and display initiative to plan ahead.
- Comply with all clinic policies and protocols, including patient and practice confidentiality protocols.
- Previous experience in private clinical practice is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in Pracsoft and Medical Director database programs desirable.
- Marketing and Social Media management experience highly desirable.
