Your role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist / Secretary 3 days a week at our Bella Vista Office (once a fortnight, the selected candidate must travel to Eastwood and Wahroonga locations) for an immediate start. Your role will be to support our Specialist Physicians and Surgeons.
Your Duties:
- Attend the front desk, including booking appointments using Genie Solutions Medical Software.
- Meeting and greeting patients in a professional and courteous manner
- Scanning correspondence and results into medical files
- Invoicing, receipting and end-of-day reconciliation and banking
- Scheduling procedures and managing hospital lists
- General administration and secretarial support
- Keeping the rooms clean and tidy.
Experience and skills:
- Previous Medical Reception / Secretary experience using Genie or Clinic to Cloud practice software is essential
- Work well within a team as well as independently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and show initiative
- Must be willing to travel to multiple sites
