SalaryOne of our clients, a medical centre in Edens Landing QLD, is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join their team.
Key requirements:
- Previous experience with Best Practice or Medical Director and medical reception experience is a bonus
- Manage appointment schedules
- Working knowledge of Medicare item numbers for general practice
- Assisting clients with booking appointments with specialists and other providers.
- Work effectively within a team and also able to work independently.
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Display a professional manner via phone and with patients in the clinic setting
- Able to multitask and display fantastic organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments and processing payments.
- Banking
- Organising incoming correspondence and directing to the appropriate health professional.
- Liaising with patients and their families and assisting with arrangements for their care.
- Assisting our GP's and allied health providers with required administration tasks.
The position offers approximately 2-3 days per week.
Please note candidates will be required to work a Saturday morning on a rotating roster.
