Medical Receptionist/Administration Officer

Barrier Reef Medical Centre is a modern, locally owned General Practice. We require a Medical Receptionist to join our busy team.

The position is 38 hours per week + a rostered Saturday morning (approximately 1 in 4). Part time hours will be considered for the right applicant.

Rostered hours are between 7.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 7.45am to 12.15pm.

The position requires the successful applicant to answer incoming telephone calls, process payments, perform general administration duties and attend to patient needs in a compassionate manner. 

Requirements for this position:

• Proficiency with various computer software e.g. word/excel
• Previous experience within the medical industry (desired but not essential)
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Good time management skills with a compassionate and understanding manner
