PPT Medical receptionist (min 5 years’ experience) wanted for 2 days a week plus sick/holiday cover as required.
We are a Specialist Rheumatology practice with a well established medical and admin team. We are seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to join us. Experience using Audit4 considered desirable but not essential, training provided. We understand the importance of having a happy, cohesive team in the workplace and value the contribution that our staff make towards the care of our patients. We would love to add another enthusiastic and hardworking person to this team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Arriving to work promptly and maintaining a smart appearance .
- Maintaining a sense of humour and be able to display empathy and compassion.
- Welcoming and assisting patients with enquiries and appointments.
- Answer and respond to telephone enquiries and emails in a courteous and professional manner.
- Accurately process patient billing and receipting payments via cash, eftpos etc.
- Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records.
- At all times maintain confidentiality of patient personal and financial information.
- You will be cross trained ,enabling you to work along side any Consultant within rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of reception area/your workspace and the Specialists consultation rooms.
- Liaise with referring practitioners, hospital staff and medical representatives in a courteous and professional manner.
