Medical Receptionist/Clerical Support

We are seeking an additional member to join our Ophthalmology Practice in Dubbo, as a Medical Receptionist/Clerical Support officer.

This is a casual position approximately 2-3 days per week (opportunity to increase in future). Commencing with award wages with an incentive to proceed to above award wages. 

Job Description

Reception and administrative duties will include:

• Making/rescheduling appointments
• Creating/filing medical records
• Invoicing and receipting patients for treatment
• Booking patients for surgical operations/completing necessary paperwork 
• General office/front counter duties
• Reviewing and distributing doctor's reports 
• Answering phone enquires 
• Monitoring incoming emails 
• Communicating between staff/patients to ensure efficient and accurate running of clinical schedules

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience in Administration and Medical Reception highly regarded
• Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work performed
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
