We have got multiple exciting opportunities available with well established clients who are seeking Medical Administrators/Receptionists/Secretaries and Typists for permanent part time positions. These positions would suit a candidate with specialist practice experience who is looking for a great work/life balance. We have positions available with a range of clients located across Brisbane CBD and inner city suburbs. Previous medical experience is essential.

Medical Receptionist – This is a part time (3 days per week) position in an Orthopaedic Surgery Practice based in Spring Hill. This Practice uses Clinic to Cloud software and would require Medical Reception duties such as answering phones, booking patients, processing medical correspondence and general administrative support.
Junior Medical Receptionist – based in Spring Hill, this Junior Medical Receptionist position will be working within a Psychiatry Clinic. The position is part time (3 days per week) working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday working 8.30am to 4.30pm. This clinic uses Shexie software. This is a great opportunity for a Junior Medical Receptionist to make the change into specialist work and receive training to gain the skills and knowledge to continue growing.
Medical Receptionist/Secretary – This position would require the candidate to have Genie and Eclipse billing experience. This is a part time (3 days a week) position working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8.30am to 4.30pm with availability to flex up to 4 days a week during leave periods. Based in Spring Hill, this Practice is a multi-disciplinary specialist group with General Physicians and responsibilities would include, patient billing and receipting, general medical correspondence, greeting patients, answering phone calls and responding to emails.
Medical Typist/Administrator – This position is available for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday working 9am to 2pm each day. This Practice uses Genie and Eclipse and the candidate needs to be proficient at transcription typing. This is a Gastroenterology Practice based in Auchenflower.
To be closely considered for these positions with Litton Andrews, you will have:
- A minimum of 12 months industry experience working within a private specialist practice
- Sound knowledge of medical and billing software including at least one of the following: Genie, Gentu, BlueChip, Shexie, HealthTrack, Clinic to Cloud or Xestro
- Proficient computer skills, with a sound knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Strong written and oral communication skills with uncompromising attention to detail
- General understanding of medical terminology and the importance of patient privacy and confidentiality
- Highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with your working availability, including a high level of enthusiasm and resilience to adapt to varying practice environments
- An understanding of Medicare, DVA, Workcover and Private Health Fund billing would be advantageous
- Medical Transcription temp roles will require a minimum of 80wpm in addition to previous private specialist practice experience
