A comprehensive women's health practice is seeking its next star secretary. The practice opened approximately 1 year ago and is now seeking to grow with the growing client base. Great location close to rail and bus lines, along with the convenience of parking onsite.
This role will be ideal for someone looking to extend their bright and cheerful personality at work, while nurturing our clients and supporting our clinicians.

Located within private suites at Sunshine Private Hospital, Maven Centre is a woman's health centre that genuinely cares for its patients, with specialist gynaecologists, womens health GPs, allied health staff and other visiting specialists providing a wrap around specialist service.
About you:
You will serve as our welcome to the practice, playing an important role establishing a connection with our patients when they call or attend the practice. We are looking for someone who has a bright and mature outlook, attention to detail and a love for serving their community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the team of clinicians by being a professional and willing colleague.
Delivering patient-centred service excellence with an open and friendly manner.
Maintaining appointment books and bookings to enhance patient and clinician experience.
Financial reporting at the end of the day.
Assisting with ad hoc duties as required
Assisting with operating theatre bookings (training provided)
Leave cover for other staff as required.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Previous Theatre booking experience.
Excellent communication skills, with a professional, positive and friendly manner.
Medical terminology and software experience - we use Xestro as our practice management software.
Accountability, enthusiasm, a good work ethic and an ability to commit to a long-term role.
Ability to work independently and with initiative.
Honesty and reliability
Professional appearance.
Willingness to jump in and experience a truly sensational working relationship with colleagues.
Preparedness to be an important part of our team.
Hours:
We envisage at least 1 full day per week - 8:30am till 5:00pm. Additional 7-8 hours as rostered.
Holiday cover will be a requirement of this position but comes with plenty of notice.
