Your New Role:
The Member Engagement Assistant is responsible for all inbound escalated and outbound Australian Unity Member enquiries, ensuring a positive, member-centric experience is delivered accurately. The MEA will assist with maintaining data integrity and accuracy in the Group Member Register, recording member preferences, and liaising with key source system contacts across the Australian Unity business.
The MEA will deliver a high level of service in a team environment embracing Australian Unity's values of bold, warm and honest.
- Initial contact point for escalated general enquiries with members by having high quality and consistent conversations to drive a great experience with a high level of accuracy in every interaction.
- Follow approved script guidelines for consistency in delivering a positive experience
- Identify and communicate appropriate member information by articulating entitlements and benefits
- Processing of Member communication preferences
- Assisting with AGM, New member welcome campaigns and other member communications where needed
- Initial point of contact for Community Pharmacy members
- Processing of all annual renewals in ROS system
- Assist as required with the AGM working group with event preparation
- Liaise with partners/suppliers for Coupa invoicing
- Process Coupa requisitions and invoicing
- Actively work with MES to identify development opportunities and proactively work towards improvements
- Actively contribute to the Membership & Corporate Communications team
- Experience working in a similar member or customer-centered role (desired but not essential)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver an accurate and positive level of customer service
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience using Salesforce CRM is highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to work in both a team environment and individually
- Have a strong work ethic, demonstrated initiative and self-motivated
- Solid communication skills (written, verbal)
- Provide best practice advice & support
- Highly motivated, adaptable, and proactive
- Take initiative and recommend changes and/or improvements
