We are seeking a Business Support Officer to join a Local Government team in City Of Boroondara. This is a contract role starting immediately and set to run through till the 16th of August 2024.
This role supports the team that manages Council's trees. This includes customer queries, and request for updates, liaising with contractors and team members. At time this can involve dealing with emotional and upset people by phone and email. It also involves entering and reviewing data, as well as general admin duties like letter writing, meeting agenda and minutes, and processing invoices.
This role is based at Kew Depot, and attending in person will be required for at least the first 3 weeks while undergoing training. Then working from home flexibility 1-2 days a week is available.
