About Us: ANF is a dynamic and progressive union representing over 41,000 nurses, midwives and carers in Western Australia. The ANF is dedicated to advocating for the rights and interests of our members across various workplaces. We are committed to providing exceptional support and guidance to our members, ensuring they have the resources and assistance they need to thrive in their workplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Travel to various hospitals, clinics, and health services in the metro area to recruit new members and strengthen our union.
- Member Engagement: Meet existing members to provide information on services and benefits, ensuring they fully understand the advantages of being part of our union.
- Promotion: Actively promote union services, support, and benefits to potential and current members, fostering a sense of community and solidarity.
- Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and administrators to support union activities and member recruitment.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A current drivers licence.
- Enthusiastic and motivated with a strong commitment to union values.
- Ability to travel regularly within the metro area.
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with members from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and the capacity to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
