Audiology Australia is the peak professional association representing audiologists in Australia and its purpose is to open the world of ear and hearing healthcare for the wellbeing of all. Established in 1968, it has a current membership of 3,500 audiologists representing approximately 95% of the profession.
The profession of audiology is self-regulating, and Audiology Australia strives to help our members deliver the highest standards of contemporary hearing health care through professional accreditation, education, professional development, policy and advocacy, networking, and collaboration.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Membership Officer will support in the smooth functioning of member services. You will support the Membership Manager with membership inquiries, follow up phone calls and emails, data entry, CPD and Clinical Internship administration, printing, and mailing certificates.
You will be part of a small team, working a hybrid arrangement between home and our National Office in Richmond, Melbourne. Audiology Australia is an equal opportunity employer and provides a flexible and supportive working environment.
This is part time 0.8 FTE position, reporting to the Membership and Operations Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Membership and Operations Manager, the role will involve:
- Assist with the administration of the Clinical Internship program
- Manage the process for logging CPD points in the CRM
- Follow up and respond to member queries
- Assist with member phone calls and emails during membership renewals and annual audit
- Assist with the CRM data maintenance
- Assist with printing and mailing certificates
- Assist with day-to-day membership administration tasks where required
- Other duties as requested from time to time
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Outstanding customer service skills – to be able to empathize with members and have a genuine interest to support them
- Strong computer literacy and database experience
- Attention to detail
- Highly developed communication skills (active listening, verbal and written).
- Excellent time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Excel
- Enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to successfully manage workload and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
DESIRABLE
- Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Relevant qualification in administration, education, health or other relevant field
- Experience working for a not-for-profit, member-based association or a similar role
