The Role
We are looking for a Full Time Practice Nurse Manager to join our Chatswood practice to provide leadership and operational management to a team of Nurses, ensuring the highest standard of patient care. In this role you will work closely with the Practice Manager to maintain efficiency of the Treatment Room while training and mentoring clinical staff.
The Tasks
- Provide leadership and effective management to a team of Nurses
- Ensure patient care is provided efficiently and effectively by managing varied clinical procedures as necessary
- Coach, train, and mentor the team, so that they can deliver the best clinical outcomes to all patients
- Maintain the Treatment Room and ensure it is being run efficiently with appropriate staff numbers, following best practice procedures
- Assist the GP with conducting health assessments, GP management plans and reviews
- Work alongside the Practice Manager to understand the levers of profit and loss within the practice and manage their teams accordingly
The Successful Candidate
- Proven Leadership and Management experience
- Registered Nurses with prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- A passion for people and a personable approach

The Role
We are looking for a Full time Practice Manager to join our Forest Hill practice to bring structure, business improvements and business growth into our clinic. In this role you will manage and support our employees and Health Care Professionals. Reporting to Regional Manager you will be responsible for dealing with all day-to-day operational requirements of running a professional Medical Centre and all aspects of employee management including, talent development, mentoring performance management and centre improvements and managing the P & L’s.
The Tasks
- Identify, review and trouble-shoot operational issues
- Identify areas of improvement and drive change
- Monitoring practice safety and standards across the clinic
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Monitor rosters and budgets
- Recruitment of Staff
- Ability to work within documented policies and procedures ( SOP’s)
- Liaise with various stakeholders, including National Operations Manager, Regional Managers and internal stakeholders within the centre
The Successful Candidate
- Proven Leadership and Management experience ideally in healthcare industry
- Qualification in Business Administration or Diploma of Practice Management preferred
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
