As we continue to grow and expand our impact, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Mergers & Acquisitions Manager.The Mergers & Acquisitions Manager plays a crucial role in managing and supporting all Merger & Acquisition activities at genU. From identifying opportunities to completing integration activities, this position is integral to our strategic growth and development. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external resources to ensure alignment with genU's mission, values, and strategic objectives.Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the Target Screening process to ensure alignment with genU's Strategy, Vision, Mission, and Values, enabling initial opportunity assessment and due diligence.
  • Lead the Due Diligence and Evaluation process, collaborating with specialist resources within genU and externally as needed.
  • Develop Integration Plans, including operating models, blueprints, Day 1, Day 1+ and End State Plans, roles and responsibilities, change management, and communications strategies.
  • Update and establish the genU M&A Framework and associated toolkits to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain an up-to-date market scan and associated information.
This is a full-time, ongoing position with the flexibility to be based anywhere in Australia! You will exhibit exceptional organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively. You will bring a collaborative mindset and be adept at effectively engaging with multidisciplinary teams to achieved shared goals.Essential Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in Project Management with a focus on M&A activity, experience at a Big 4 consultancy or in the Community Services sector will be highly regarded,
  • Demonstrated professionalism with strong facilitation and presentation abilities;
  • Proven track record of success in project delivery and change management environments;
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, or a willingness to obtain;
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion, or a willingness to complete.
