What's on offer?
We are currently seeking enthusiastic Mill Production Operator to join the team in Lara. The successful applicant will initially commence employment as a general mill hand in our feed manufacturing operation and will receive training to perform all aspects of the production process. Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Pre-mix preparation and documentation
- Maintaining a daily focus on health and safety
- Quality sampling and testing
- Forklift driving
- Pellet press operation
- Basic maintenance tasks/minor repairs
- Following all work instructions, policies and procedures
- General cleaning of the workplace
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a flexible approach, including being able to work shiftwork and overtime
- Have good communication skills
- Be physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks
- Be able to work in a team environment to meet all targets
- Be reliable and motivated
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
