Drive Personnel, a growing mining and resource industry company, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team in West Perth. We serve multiple clients across Western Australia, focusing on maintenance personnel at over 40 mine sites. We are looking for a Mobilisation Co-ordinator. This position is critical in acting as a conduit between Employees and the Operations teams to confirm future work assignments, compliance and communicating mobilisation/demobilisation logistics.
Role Purpose:
- To manage shutdown and project jobs from mobilisation to demobilisation; and
- To assist Planning and Operations teams in end-to-end planning activities
What the role involves:
- Mobilisations - organising medicals, PPE, contracts, inductions, site access for both new starters and transfers
- Liaise with client and client site contacts to ensure mobilisation deadlines are met, qualification checks are complete, and additional training, flights and accommodation are booked before mobilisation
- Notify personnel of mobilisation flight locations, times, and accommodation
- General Administration duties, answering incoming calls, timesheet processing etc
- Thinking outside the box to provide solutions when obstacles are thrown your way
- High-level customer service to both internal and external clients
- Preparing and maintaining accurate information on the roster system and personnel folders
- Ensuring 100% compliance and reporting on compliance
ABOUT YOU:
- High focus on HSE at all times
- Previous experience working with the resources sector in a role similar to Mobilisation Administrator, Coordinator, Project Support etc. is advantageous
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft 365 suite
- Very high attention to detail
- A positive mindset
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work functions
- Highly self-motivated, methodical, and organised - this is a fast paced role where you will be required to meet deadlines, self-motivation will play a huge role in your performance and ability to meet these deadlines
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to change
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - this role will require consistent interaction with candidates and clients over emails, phones and in person
- Working knowledge of OPMS would be seen as a definite advantage
- Must be willing to work from our office in West Perth, this is not a Working From Home or remote position
