ABOUT THE JOB
- Work with the management team to ensure smooth operations of our 26 room bed and breakfast motel.
- Hands on in all areas of the motel operation where required
- Support and assist guests
- Assist with housekeeping, cleaning rooms when required and linen orders
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and room cleanliness
- Converting phone enquiries to reservations
- Ensure rooms and grounds always presentable
- General maintenance recording
- Room Service breakfast when required
- Assisting a wide variety of guests including corporate, leisure and government clients
- Understand the demands of our traveling guests and be willing to assist early and late arrivals
This is a casual position with at least 2 days per week to cover the Motel Manager's days off, including weekends and additional days/weeks when required. The schedule can be negotiated to suit those that currently have a part-time job. You will be required to stay overnight at the Motel during these shifts.
ABOUT YOU
You're a friendly, honest,with experience in customer service and guest services at a motel would be an advantage.
You understand what it takes to successfully run a small bed and breakfast motel and can work autonomously at times.
You have the capability to manage difficult guests from time to time.
You fully understand the importance of guest satisfaction and promoting guest reviews.
You don't mind being hands on to support and assist with housekeeping during busy days.

Successful Applicant will have;
- Previous Motel management skills
- Be able to maintain a well engaged and positive working culture
- Willingness to learn our systems
- Be trustworthy and work autonomously
- Police check maybe required
- Ideally knowledge of RMS, Word and Excel
