Key accountabilities of the role
• Contribute to reviews and the development of effective policy and legislative and regulatory reforms.
• Analyse policy issues, think creatively, and research solutions which will contribute to the achievement of effective policy design.
• Prepare advice, discussion papers, briefs and submissions based on appropriate factual evidence and research, to contribute to the development of policies and advice.
• Undertake qualitative and quantitative research and analysis to support policy development; scan the external operating context and the values and interests of customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate working groups, committees and stakeholder consultation to support stakeholder engagement in policy development.
