Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is approximately 1,100 students.
The College seeks to appoint a Music Supervisor responsible for the efficient operation of the Br Louis Music Centre. The Centre operates between 7am and 10pm from Monday to Friday during term time and provides the opportunity for boys to participate in music ensembles, music projects, classroom music lessons and individual music tuition.
Duties will vary dependent on the time of day but will include the opening and closing of the Centre, setting up and packing down of equipment, ensuring spaces are conducive to learning and managing student behaviour during the evening study program.
To be successful in this role you will have experience in the Music industry or Music Education, experience with A/V equipment is desirable, the ability to work positively with children as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
