The role

Reporting to the National Business Manager – Grocery, the National Account Executive, Grocery will take the lead on managing the day-to-day relationships with our independent grocery partners and department stores (DDS) as well as act as a key support to the broader APAC grocery team on administration of the full channel portfolio.

With a focus on continued growth and expansion, your priority will be to assist in developing and implementing the AU retail and wholesale sales business plan, driving its implementation to deliver on agreed upon company revenue targets, and working closely with the NBN to effectively forecast and plan.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain excellent relationship with assigned retailers, working to understand their goals, market conditions, challenges, competitive activities and possible unique opportunities.
  • Work with Finance and Category teams to view sell through and wholesale data from our retailers, identifying patterns, calling out top-selling skus and providing top-level commentary on monthly tracking of actuals vs forecast.
  • Work with retailers to achieve stated sales and revenue targets and drive consumption growth
  • Regularly meet with Retailers to develop and implement precise sales and business plans
  • Monitor retailers wholesale sales, inventory levels and retailer activity to maximize sales opportunities and brand image
  • Establish annual joint business plans, driving alignment to the plan both internally and with retailer/s
  • Contribute to forecasting and consumption patterns aligned to the Fiscal Year planning calendar
  • Work with inventory management and demand planning team to build and maintain an accurate inventory holding and forecast
  • Communication and coordination of customer needs with internal support teams as required to provide superior customer service
  • Manage weekly sales reporting and monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Ongoing analysis against business performance to drive incremental growth opportunities and visibility to current state
  • Analytic support and preparation for all retailer range reviews
  • Ensure the Bondi Sands brand message is communicated effectively across the market and retailer partners.
  • Ensure sales results per retailer, category, SKU and promotional period are clearly and effectively communicated to National Business Manager and GM Sales APAC.
  • Provide insight and advisement to Brand/Marketing team on trade marketing plans to ensure alignment on overarching Marketing campaigns.
  • Assist wider team on shared administration tasks such as Retailer new line forms, promotional submissions, image requests, data entry maintenance, shared Sales/Marketing files etc.

The ideal candidate

With strong time and project management skills, you can thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment. You are commercially astute, and highly analytical, with a knack for analysing sales information to identify opportunities, and can apply your problem-solving skills to consider business goals when implementing action.

You are a detailed oriented, motivated, results driven, personable and reliable team member who enjoys working toward and contributing to a broader goal and purpose.
