National Account Manager - Foodservice

As National Account Manager - Foodservice, you will be playing an important role in joint business planning, and managing of key accounts. As well as identify, evaluate, acquire and maximise new business development & sales growth for the business.
Reporting to the National Business Manager, this role would also be responsible for the use of analytic tools and data systems to review new insights and develop strategies that result in better customer partnerships, unlock new opportunities, and increased returns and profitability.
A background with live contacts in Distributor sales or HoReCa sales is desirable, and experience from any culinary background is advantageous. This role empowers its position holder to show their creativity and knowledge of food and cuisine.
This role would also suit someone with a critical understanding of Australia's foodservice network, specialising in dry good and liquid sauce sales.
Our preference for this role would include:
- Minimum 2 years corporate sales experience (Preferably Foodservice)
- Preferred previous National Account experience within the Foodservice Industry
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment with a business with large growth goals
- High level business acumen
- Proven ability to develop new business
- Excellent presentation and organisational skills
- Experience in developing sales strategies and plans
- Experienced with new product developments (NPD)
- Track record in managing large accounts and relationship management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Project management process understanding
For the right candidate, this role can be based in either our satellite office in Sydney, with the primary work location being Macquarie Park or Braeside Melbourne at our head office on Governor Road.
Hybrid work model supported
Some interstate travel would be required to meet with key clients.
