We are currently seeking an experienced National Account Manager – Private Label to join our Commercial Team in a full-time permanent role. This position will be based at our Baxters headquarters and production site in Campbellfield, reporting to the GM - Commercial.
The role is responsible for the management of all aspects of the relationship between Baxters and customers within Private Label channel.
Accountabilities:
- Achievement of annual retail budget through: New Private Label business in line with strategic plans, Growth (volume or margin) within existing accounts, Retention of existing accounts.
- Maintain relationships via quarterly business reviews.
- Manage end to end new projects ensuring they are delivered on time and within profitability framework.
- Proactively work with customers on PL and retailer exclusive offers that line up with BFA manufacturing footprint.
- Work with GM Commercial to develop business plans for all major accounts.
- Plan and execute factory tours with major accounts as required.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports as required.
- Respond immediately to any customer concerns or complaints and work with the relevant internal resources to resolve their issues as required.
- Networking within the industry in order to maintain an awareness of trends, innovations and competitor movements.
Experience:
- Retail FMCG account management experience
- Private Label experience

Education:
- Business or other related degree
- Formal sales training
Skills:
- Sales and account management skills; track record of meeting and exceeding set sales targets within established customer bases
- Ability to analyse data in order to measure and manage performance to budget, including pro-actively identifying potential problems/issues before they arise and problem solving to a solution
- Uses data to develop and present clear, to the point presentation and business plans in line with budget and strategic plans
- Strong relationship building skills
