Job Description
Achieving all predefined KPI's targets within the scope of the role and the chosen brand profiles, across all selected territories
Analysing current marketplace, collating, and feeding back key market and competitive data.
Planning, executing, and developing/managing sales strategies in targeted market sectors
Generating new leads and developing KPI's with existing customer base
Responding to customer enquiries
Provide a strong link with the CEO and internal staff to develop long term relationships with the key customer groups
Ensure strong inter-company liaison on key sales initiatives within the Division
Organise presentations for potential and existing Customers to increase the profile and support services offered by the Company.
Identify opportunities for new products and services that can be profitably provided by the Company and develop such ideas with the team.
Analyse sales performance and propose initiatives and implement plans to rectify adverse trends
Attend regular Sales Meetings to plan and monitor strategic and operational actions in the market.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications in a Business degree or a related field
Minimum 3 years' experience in Key Account/National Account Management within the FMCG/ Retail industry
Experience and proven track record in success dealing with the corporate grocery channel or key retailers at a head office level such as Target, Myer, Costco and many more.
Ability to work in a team environment as well as being a self-starter, working from home when not on the road. Needs to be extremely driven
Must have strong financial/analytical acumen
Strong track record of Account Management
Advanced excel & computing skills
Must have effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
Strong leadership qualities/ ambition.
