Who you are joining
Our client a large National Insurance Building, Repair & Construction, services providers, has been servicing the countries biggest insurers for over 15 years. Their focus on process, people, care & responsiveness enable them to deliver consistently on large, complex, Major Loss and commercial insurance projects across Australia.
Their Major Complex Loss & Commercial business is on a significant 4 year growth trajectory and they are now looking for a fourth member of the senior leadership team to contribute to the realisation of that strategy.
Role – National Construction Manager, Commercial & Major Loss
Mentoring a national project team to deliver great project outcomes you will work closely with Operations, Client Performance & the GM to take the business forward.
- Lead a project team of 24+ including Supervisor Estimators, CA's, Site Foremen & Senior Project Managers with significant growth to come
- Work closely with the GM on strategy, financial, new roles & redefining team structure
- Deliver team & individual coaching around core project management skillsets & disciplines
- Provide tender and PM direction & support on major projects
- Foster a culture of team, relationships, communication, safety, quality, service
- Grow the divisions profile with major insurers, strata insurers & loss adjusting firms
- Relationship development, capitalising on new business & contractor opportunities
- Supported by a large HR, Finance, Compliance, Systems & Safety teams
- Contribute to the strategy development & direction of the national business, as part of the executive leadership team
- Experience within working with Commercial Major & Complex Loss Insurance projects
- Be process driven with a focus on developing & growing skillsets of the team
- A leadership style that empowers people to do their best work, is collaborative, flexible, empathetic and solutions focused
- Have well rounded understanding of project management principles & extensive technical construction knowledge
