Boral is seeking a skilled Laboratory Services Manager to lead our dynamic team of 3 regional Laboratory Services Managers in NSW/ACT, VIC and QLD whilst driving standardisation and optimisation of laboratory safety, quality and financial outcomes.
This role provides flexibility of location, we're seeking a suitable applicant to be based at from either our Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane location.
Your day will involve:
- Ensure adherence to laboratory standards for product specifications and quality control.
- Prioritise the health and safety of up to 200 laboratory personnel through robust safety systems and SOPs.
- Collaborate with product lines to enhance field testing quality, service and scope.
- Maintain NATA accreditation through rigorous standardisation and optimisation efforts.
- Drive key financial levers of external revenue and productivity.
- Oversee standardisation of health and safety initiatives, driving improvement in TRIFIR.
- EBIT accountability for National Laboratory centers in NSW/ACT, VIC and QLD and support operations in WA, TAS, and SA.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant or similar field
- Strong understanding of laboratory best practices and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in managing laboratory operations, driving safety and business growth
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
