About the Role:
The next step in the company’s evolution is to recruit a professional to drive profitable growth by bringing structure, process and disciplines to the sales function.
Your brief will be to develop and implement sales strategies, manage key account relationships and foster a high-performance sales culture within the business. This will involve reviewing all aspects of the sales process, including the systems and processes by which opportunity and sales pipeline and customer relationships are managed and reported on.
Key to success will be your ability to engage with and positively influence the behaviours of an established, technically knowledgeable sales team, a process in which you will be strongly supported by the company’s existing leadership and owners.
About You:
You are a sales leader able to demonstrate:
- A specific background in selling technical solutions, ideally including a service offering, direct to industrial end-users, contractors and OEMs.
- A track record of professionalising sales functions through developing and implementing sales process and systems.
- Having enhanced and/or implemented technology platforms (e.g. CRM systems) and coached their effective adoption by your teams.
- A proven history of coaching, developing and influencing individuals and teams to high performance.
- Experience in creating marketing campaigns and collateral aligned to your sales strategies.
At a personal level, you have strong values and want to work with people who respect you for demonstrating behaviours aligned to them.
