HR Partners by Randstad is excited to be partnering with an Australian household name with a diverse workforce for a National Workplace Relations Manager opportunity based in Rydalmere. This role reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for leading the organisations Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) function, predominantly with a focus on strategy, projects, building leadership capability and EBAs/EA negotiations, and complex case and grievance management.
Priorities will include but not limited to:
- Maintaining the organisation’s national workplace relations (ER and IR) infrastructure and strategies
- Oversee organisational matters related to compliance, processes, policy and auditing
- Support matters relating to union dealings, and enterprise agreements especially their negotiations
- Handling complex case management and grievances that may lead to legal action, Fair Work dealings and meditation
- Support the businesses continuous their amalgamation and further growth with mergers and acquisitions
- Coaching the HR team i.e., HRBP and Talent Acquisition Manager
- Occasional interstate site travel to other states
To be successful in this position, you will be:
- HR Generalist and/or ER/IR Specialist with minimum 6-8 years in collective work experience
- Tertiary and/or higher education qualifications (certificate/diploma minimum) in HR or related field
- Further qualifications or training in ER and/or IR will be highly beneficial
- Strong HR knowledge, skills and experience with an up to date understanding of the latest HR reforms especially in the ER and IR space
- Ideally has come from a similar industry/sector (mixed white and blue collar and unionised) with strong skills and exposure to ER and IR
- Be progressive and pragmatic in your approach
