Bare Care is a registered NDIS provider specialising in the delivery support independent living services to clients living in our group homes.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NDIS Compliance Officer to join our team. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an essential program designed to support individuals with disabilities and improve their quality of life. As an NDIS Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organisation operates in compliance with the NDIS guidelines and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of compliance and quality management systems in accordance with NDIS standards
• Restrictive Practice Compliance
• Conduct regular and unscheduled audits to ensure adherence to NDIS policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Identify any compliance risks or issues and develop effective strategies to mitigate them
• Collaborate with various departments to provide training and support on NDIS compliance requirements
• Review and update organisational policies and procedures to align with NDIS regulations
• Keep up-to-date with changes in NDIS legislation, guidelines, and practices and recommend necessary adjustments to policies and procedures
• Prepare accurate reports and documentation related to compliance activities
• Proactively monitor, investigate, and respond to any complaints, incidents, or breaches of NDIS compliance
• Maintain effective working relationships with relevant external agencies and stakeholders as required.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in NDIS legislation, guidelines, and practices and recommend necessary adjustments to policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Disability Studies, Law, Compliance)  
• Proven experience in NDIS compliance, preferably as a Compliance Officer or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of the NDIS legislative and regulatory framework
• Familiarity with NDIS practice standards, guidelines, and policies
• Excellent understanding of quality management systems and Compliance protocols
• Experience in conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
