We currently have a full time, permanent position available for a leader in the field of Quality and Risk Management with a passion for delivering better outcomes for our participants.
Reporting to the Group Chief Executive Officer (based in Cairns) and working collaboratively with the State and Operations managers, the People & Culture and Finance departments, the NDIS Quality, Risk and Compliance Manager will focus on providing compliance, reporting and employee education to provide a high-level service delivery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all NDIS audit requirements and provide advice and support to management and staff of ITEC Health in relation to compliance with legislative and organisational policies and procedures.
The Role Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure and manage compliance with ITEC Group Australia policies, procedures, guidelines and documents to ensure compliance with government legislation, regulations, relevant professional standards and contractual brokerage requirements across community and disability services.
- Work with all departments within ITEC Group Australia to build and embed quality frameworks that are aligned to safeguarding services to meet client needs.
- Undertake internal audits as required for quality assurance and continuous quality improvement, provide further feedback and solutions to maintain compliance.
- Monitor and ensure NDIS portal is up to date and reflective of service delivery.
- Evaluate service models and client outcomes, predict and respond to service trends
- Actively participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement strategies.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Previous 2+ years quality, Risk and Compliance experience
- Experience working within the NDIS quality and safeguards framework and the NDIS Practice Standards and Disability Service Standards.
- Exceptional communication skills including the ability to write technical documentation such as policies, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Ability to build relationships and influence coaching and training others to adhere to a quality management system
- Ability to travel to our Head Office in Cairns and State offices in Darwin and Adelaide as needed.
