Kangaroo Care is a well-established NDIS support provider founded and driven by a team of Doctors and Nurses. We provide services to multiple clients across Brisbane.

We cautiously pair support workers with clients to facilitate their integration into and active participation within their communities. Additionally, we aim to contribute positively to the communities we serve by empowering our diverse workforce.
THE ROLE:
- Interpreting and implementing NDIS plans in alignment with the participant's goals and needs, leveraging mainstream and community services.
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate various services and supports, ensuring seamless delivery of participant plans.
- Identifying suitable services, engaging with diverse support providers, and facilitating progress towards established goals.
- Addressing crises, barriers, and risks comprehensively, devising effective solutions to mitigate these challenges.
- Cultivating robust collaborative relationships with government agencies, non-government organizations, service providers, and allied health professionals.
- Empowering participants to self-direct, self-advocate, and manage their NDIS plans autonomously, fostering independence and choice.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Proven experience in providing diverse support needs with empathy and respect.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills fostering productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to devise innovative solutions to complex problems amidst conflicting priorities.
- Strong communication skills, adept at interpreting and drafting complex reports.
- Extensive knowledge of the NDIS and experience coordinating community-based supports to achieve participant goals.
- A blend of professional expertise and personal experience providing insights into NDIS, disability, and complex health challenges.
