Network Engineer

• Multiple positions and contracts available with possibilities of extension
• Day rate up to $1000 per day depending on provided experience
• Hybrid Working Environment- WFH/Office

A leading retail company is looking for multiple Network Engineers to join a growing team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of their network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain core network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Configure and manage Cisco networking equipment.
• Implement and maintain network security best practices.
• Participate in network capacity planning and optimisation projects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

• Solid experience with core network infrastructure
• Strong understanding of switching and routing concepts, including protocols
• Experience configuring and managing Cisco networking equipment.
• Proficient in network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cisco certfications (CCNA, CCNP etc.)

Desired Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Python scripting.
• Experience with IP address management
