About The Role
Working with national MSP supporting their key clients, you will be required to provide network and Firewall support multiple sites. This role encompasses overseeing Networks Firewalls LAN, WAN, data and load balancers. The key to success is having experience with Check Point Firewalls
Key Responsibilities:
- Capacity Management: Monitor and resolve capacity shortfalls, contributing to capacity planning initiatives.
- Firewall Support: Check Point Support and maintenance
- Configuration Management: Maintain secure configurations and management of network components.
- Continuity/Disaster/Resilience Management: Develop and implement continuity management plans, coordinate maintenance procedures, and devise contingency plans.
- Information Security: Implement security measures and monitor their performance to ensure network integrity.
- Infrastructure and Network Development and Maintenance: Provide support for day-to-day infrastructure and network operations, ensuring their efficiency and reliability.
Experience:
- Substantial work experience in network management within large organisations.
- Strong knowledge of network technologies, security protocols, operations, and firewall management.
- Proven experience with Check Point
- Demonstrated experience in resolving complex network and security incidents.
- Adaptability to changing environments and a drive for innovation.
- Exceptional analysis, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Support in managing organizational and technical risks.
