The OpportunityThis is an opportunity for a junior Network Engineer to begin your ICT career in the intelligence space, contributing to optimising network performance. You will be exposed to a diverse range of services and work in highly classified ICT environments.
The RoleIn this role, you will:
- Be responsible for administration and configuration of the agencies networks
- Conduct investigation, analysis and reporting of faults within the networks and the connection to partnering agencies
- Analyse and report on network performance and provide recommendations
- Undertake network audits and review to ensure stability and adherence
You have 2 years’ experience as a Network Engineer working in classified ICT environments and now ready to enter the intelligence space and contribute to Australia’s ICT capabilities.
You have experience in Cisco networking equipment such as Catalyst and Nexus. With exposure to Palo Alto Firewalls, you also have delt with Citrix Application Delivery Controllers.
Salary / Rate- $100/hr – $125/hr including superannuation
- 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extensions
