Network Engineer

Join us to assist our Federal Government Customer with a major relocation and support of their Network Infrastructure. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working with departmental staff and respective service providers to provide high quality network support and service Improvement of LAN, WAN, Firewall, Internet services and Microsoft Azure.
• Produce network architecture design.
• Should be able to work independently.
• Working co-operatively and collaboratively with the IT team, as well as other stakeholders within the Department.
• Produce quality as built documentation, other engineering documentation and should be good in Microsoft VISIO.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated Network experience working in a contemporary, secure ICT environment with understanding and skills in the provision of technical services; particularly in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, Load Balancers, Fortinet Firewalls, HP switching, Wireless Networking and On-prem/Azure network connectivity such as express route, VPN’s and V-net peering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Network Engineer.
• Should have worked on SNMP monitoring tools and its installation.
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills, particularly in discussing technical and strategic matters with non-technical people.
• Demonstrated high level attention to detail, including the ability to write detailed technical documentation.
• Map data movements across network zones/cross-domain environments.
