About your new branch
The Network Operations branch is located within the Infrastructure Operations department and is responsible for the operating, controlling, and monitoring all the active assets within the water, recycled water and sewerage networks on the Gold Coast.
You will join a branch that plays a pivotal role in monitoring all active assets and overseeing the operation of the passive assets including 3,500km of water mains and 3,500km of sewerage to provide safe drinking water supplies and sewerage collection.

You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and essential administrative support for the water, sewer or recycled water network monitoring business units to contribute to the day-to-day operations.

What you bring to your new role
Experience in functional operation and management of Water, Sewer, or Recycled Water Operations networks (highly desirable)
Certificate III in Water Industry Operations or working towards or equivalent knowledge (desirable)
Engaged leadership skills with the ability to drive positive work practices across multi-faceted teams
High level of written and verbal communication skills that enable good collaboration and decision making
Analytical and critical thinker who looks outside the square to seek solutions
Demonstrated experience in Power BI Pro, SCADA, SAP, ArcGIS, Grange Water, Aqualas, GeoScada, Safety Culture, Project Manager, Promapp
Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite notably high level of Excel formatting skills, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams (highly desirable).
Experience in Project Management and Compliance and Auditing
